I am interested on the circulation and fluxes of heat and salt in the South Pacific. I work in collaboration with Harry Bryden and Sheldon Bacon. The data consist of temperature and salinity measurements from two WOCE hydrographic sections (P21 and P6). Inverse methods are used to determine the circulation patterns and the corresponding transports. We would be interested in using other tracers and current measurements to improve our estimations. WOCE meridional sections between P21 and P6 will also be used to subdivide the basin in smaller areas.
